The law is the diagnosis that we are all sinners in need of a Savior. Jesus is the cure.

Don’t compare. Don’t complain. Don’t cower in fear. But leverage everything that your KING has given you for His glory. Use all the treasures that God has given you to TREASURE Christ before all things.

Flee sexual immorality…you are not your own, you were bought with a price. So glorify God with your body.

If you want to be great, if you want to be first, then humble yourself like Jesus and serve.

No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. - Matthew 6:24 Are you serving money as your king? Or are you using money to serve the one true King?

“Enemy-occupied territory---that is what this world is. Christianity is the story of how the rightful king has landed, you might say landed in disguise, and is calling us to take part in a great campaign of sabotage" - C.S. Lewis What kingdom are you serving?

Prayer is a natural response to the gospel.

What are you worshiping? We are all wired to worship. Are you worshiping the ONE TRUE GOD?

The sabbath ultimately points us to Jesus.

We made it to the final “one another” this season, and that’s to forgive one another. Unforgiveness will lead to bitterness, closing off relationships to one another and to God. Forgive one another as the Lord has forgiven you. ¹² Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, ¹³ bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. – Colossians 3:12-13 We hope this season has blessed you over the last 28 weeks. A great relationship with one another is ultimately defined by mutual submission out of reverence for Christ. Whether it be in marriage, between children and parents or between bosses and employees, may we humble ourselves and submit ourselves to one another, just as Christ did for us.

Forgiveness of sin comes from Jesus alone, but often healing comes in the context of community. Who are you praying for? Who do you have in your life that’s praying for you? Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. – James 5:16

More than any other, we are commanded to love one another as He has loved us. We can’t do this alone; Jesus invites us to abide in Him and He will abide in us. The more we abide in Jesus, the more fruit we bear that can pour out to love one another unconditionally, like Christ has loved us. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. – John 15:12

This week’s one another comes from Hebrews 10. May we always encourage one another and surround ourselves with those that continually point us to Jesus. This week, Pastor Joby talks about the event in John 13 when Jesus washes the disciples’ feet. He washes the feet of those that would follow Him, betray Him and deny Him. Many people find themselves in places of authority, not just at work, but at home as moms or dads. What do you do when you find yourself in a place of authority? What would it look like for you to “wash the feet” of those around you? If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. – John 13:14 Love one another with brotherly affection. Jesus laid down His perfection and took from us our sin, not because we deserved it, but because He decided He was going to do it on our behalf. That’s what honor is. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. – Romans 12:10

In a world that tries to tear us apart, the gospel informs us that just as Christ welcomed us, we are to welcome one another for the glory of God. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. - Romans 15:7

One of the primary ways to love one another is to bear one another’s burdens. In this week’s devo, Pastor Joby talks about Mary, Martha and their brother, Lazarus. In John 11, we see how Jesus carries the burdens of his friends. Jesus knows Lazarus is going to die and He is going to bring Lazarus back to life, but he meets Mary and Martha where they are and bear their burden when they needed it most. He weeps with those who are weeping. We’re called to bear one another’s burdens because Jesus bore our sin on the cross. As Jesus bears your burden, are you willing and able to bear one another’s burdens? Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. – Galatians 6:2
