There's trouble with the debt ceiling, people are feeling pessimistic about the housing market, and even Home Depot is struggling with supply chain issues and a sales decline. Private equity firms owning homes is causing problems for tenants, too, and it's not clear how policymakers will tackle all these challenges or what the impact will be on the economy.
