Jesus says, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.” In Episode 12 of Sanctify Christ as Lord, we explore how mercy is not weakness, compromise, or moral indifference, but compassion shown where judgment would be justified. By the time Jesus reaches this Beatitude, the inner work of the heart begins to move outward, revealing what has truly taken root within us.
Mercy doesn’t earn God’s favor. It flows from those who know they needed mercy first and received it freely. This episode invites us to remember where we came from, to hold truth and grace together, and to live as people shaped by the mercy we ourselves have encountered.
