The discourse presented herein embarks upon a profound exploration of the concept of Spiritual Warfare, a topic that has garnered considerable attention and relevance in contemporary discourse. Our primary focus is to elucidate the pervasive nature of spiritual battles that individuals encounter, often unbeknownst to them, as they navigate the complexities of existence. We aim to dissect the various facets of this phenomenon, distinguishing between myth, superstition, and the veritable truths grounded in biblical scripture. Furthermore, we endeavor to establish a structured approach to our discussion, utilizing an outline that will guide us through the intricacies of this series, beginning with an introduction to the fundamental principles underlying Spiritual Warfare. We invite our listeners to engage actively with the material presented, providing feedback and reflections that will undoubtedly enrich our collective understanding of this critical subject.Takeaways: In this inaugural episode of the Spiritual Warfare series, we delve into the foundational concepts surrounding the struggle between good and evil that permeates our existence. The discussion emphasizes the importance of recognizing that spiritual warfare is not merely a theoretical concept, but a practical reality that affects our daily lives and choices. Listeners are encouraged to actively engage with the material and reflect on their personal experiences of spiritual opposition, fostering a deeper understanding of their own spiritual battles. Ep 286Evangelism Essentials: A Comprehensive Guide
The primary focus of this podcast episode is the significance of evangelism within the Christian faith, a topic that we explore through a series of thought-provoking questions and discussions. We delve into the essential role that evangelism plays in fulfilling the church's mission, emphasizing that it is not merely an option but a divine mandate. Throughout our discourse, we underscore the necessity of understanding the nature of sin and righteousness to effectively communicate the gospel message. Additionally, we examine various approaches to evangelism, highlighting the importance of both confrontational and conversational methods in reaching diverse audiences. Ultimately, our aim is to encourage believers to embody their faith actively, thus becoming vessels for sharing the transformative message of Christ.Takeaways: The essence of evangelism lies in its fundamental role as the mission of the church, as articulated in Matthew 28:19-20, which commands believers to go forth and make disciples. We must recognize that effective evangelism requires both a confrontational and conversational approach, as each situation presents unique challenges that necessitate discernment and sensitivity. It is imperative that we distinguish between living a holy life as a reflection of faith and the notion that mere lifestyle evangelism suffices for sharing the gospel; verbal proclamation is essential. The concept of double predestination is often misunderstood; true Calvinism emphasizes God's sovereign choice in salvation, without equating it to fatalism or the Islamic view of predestination. When a horse named Sovereignty beats another named Journalism in the 2025 Kentucky Derby, some in the Charismatic movement quickly declare it a divine message. He also exposes the dangerous tendency within charismatic circles to read hidden spiritual messages into ordinary circumstances, missing the authority and sufficiency of Scripture in the process.Listen now and be reminded that God's sovereignty doesn’t need headlines or horses to be proven—it’s already written.📖 Subscribe to Didaché for more biblically grounded teaching that points you to the all-sufficient Word of God.➡️ Click here to find all of Justin’s essential links.

Ep 41Charismatic Gifts: A Critical Examination
The discussion at hand revolves around the theological implications and distinctions between continuationism and cessationism concerning the charismatic gifts. Throughout this episode, we engage in a rigorous examination of scriptural references, historical contexts, and personal experiences to illuminate our respective positions. We emphasize the importance of grounding our beliefs in Scripture rather than solely relying on subjective experiences or anecdotal evidence. Ultimately, we aspire to foster a respectful dialogue that acknowledges our differences while striving for a deeper understanding of God's Word and its application in our lives.Takeaways: The podcast emphasizes the importance of discussing theological differences within the Christian community with love and charity, fostering unity despite disagreements. The discourse highlights the necessity of scriptural authority over personal experiences in theological discussions concerning spiritual gifts and miracles. Participants convey the belief that the cessation of miraculous gifts is rooted in the completion of the biblical canon, marking a transition in how God communicates with His people. The conversation illustrates diverse perspectives on the charismatic gifts, showcasing the ongoing debate within the Christian faith regarding their relevance and function today.

S1 Ep 175Didaché - Pope Francis: Servant or Enemy of Christ?
Evangelical leaders praised Pope Francis as a humble follower of Christ, but was he truly a servant of the gospel or a false teacher leading millions astray? In this powerful episode of Didaché, Justin Peters is joined by former Roman Catholic and evangelist Mike Gendron to confront Pope Francis' legacy in light of Scripture. Together, they examine Francis' universalist claims, his denial of hell, his exaltation of Mary, and his contradiction of both biblical truth and historic Catholic doctrine. With clarity and compassion, Justin and Mike dismantle Roman Catholicism's theological errors and issue a heartfelt plea to Catholics and evangelicals: test every teaching by the authority of God's Word. This is more than a critique of one man—it’s a wake-up call for those deceived by false gospels, including those endorsed by prominent Protestant leaders.Listen now, understand what’s at stake, and why the gospel of grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone must never be compromised.📌 Subscribe to Didaché for more biblically grounded teaching and interviews.Mike Gendron's website, Proclaiming the Gospel➡️ Click here to find all of Justin’s essential links.

In this insightful discussion, Doreen shares her expertise on the spiritual risks of New Age tools, the Enneagram, and how the Ennea-types were developed through automatic writing. Is the Enneagram "just a personality test"? And should Christians "redeem" pagan spiritual tools to "gospel-center" them in hopes of making us more like Christ? Episode Description:In this first episode of a new series on Gospel Talks, George Binoka and Jeff Musgrave dive into the phrase “Come and See” as a model for evangelism. Drawing from John 1, they unpack how Jesus invited others into relationship—not through argument or pressure, but through presence and personal connection. S1 Ep 174Didaché - Christianity Today: Jesus May Not Have Been Nailed To The Cross. Wait, WUT?
Did Christianity Today question whether Jesus was nailed to the cross? In this episode of Didaché, Justin Peters addresses a shocking article published under the editorial leadership of Russell Moore that implies Jesus may have only been tied to the cross. Citing Dr. Jeffrey Garcia of Gordon College, the article suggests a reinterpretation of the crucifixion that contradicts both the biblical text and centuries of Christian understanding.Justin responds with clear scriptural evidence from John 20, Psalm 22, Isaiah 53, and Colossians 2 to affirm what the Bible plainly teaches: Jesus was nailed to the cross. He also exposes the deeper concern—how articles like this erode trust in the authority and inerrancy of Scripture. With clarity and biblical conviction, Justin calls believers to stay grounded in God’s Word and avoid publications that compromise it.Listen to this important response, and be reminded why Scripture—not cultural revisionism—must shape our doctrine.WWUTT YouTube Channel (Recommended - please subscribe)Full Christianity Today article (CT recommended? TTR 204 - Easter Reflections: Finding Hope Amidst Chaos
This podcast episode delves into the intriguing dynamics of lottery participation, particularly focusing on the contrasting perspectives of hope and skepticism surrounding such games of chance. I recount my personal experience of defying my mother's caution against lottery tickets, leading to an unexpected windfall that sparked a discussion on the psychological and societal implications of gambling. We explore the notion of the "poor tax," highlighting how vulnerable populations often invest in these fleeting hopes for a brighter future, despite the slim likelihood of success. Additionally, we reflect on the broader themes of faith and resilience, especially in light of recent challenges faced by individuals in our community. As we navigate through these serious topics, we aim to emphasize the importance of maintaining perspective and finding hope amidst adversity.Takeaways: In the pursuit of wealth through lotteries, we must confront the reality that such endeavors often lead to financial waste rather than gain. The conversation highlights the paradox of individuals participating in lotteries, despite the overwhelming odds against winning, demonstrating a deep-seated hope for financial salvation. The discussion emphasizes the importance of faith and resilience in overcoming life's challenges, particularly during difficult times, as illustrated during the Easter celebration. We must remind ourselves that the resurrection of Christ serves as a powerful symbol of hope, encouraging us to live with purpose and faith in our daily lives. Education is a collaborative effort between parents and children, requiring active involvement to nurture a child's learning and growth effectively. The necessity of allowing children to experience failure is crucial for their development, as it teaches resilience and the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity.

Ep 341Was the Resurrection of Jesus Prophesied?
I hope you had a blessed Resurrection Day! In honor of our Lord's resurrection, let's do a deep dive into some Old Testament Scriptures that I believe prophesied about the resurrection of Jesus. On the road to Emmaus, Jesus criticized people for not believing that the Scriptures prophesied about His own sufferings and glory that would follow. Jesus used the Scriptures to explain this to them. S3 Ep 7S3E7 | Theology | Maundy Thursday and the Typology of the Passover Meal
Maundy Thursday invites us into the sacred moment when Jesus shared the Last Supper with His disciples. In this podcast episode, Adam Parker explores the deep typology of the Passover meal and how it pointed forward to Christ. Discover how each element of that ancient feast foreshadowed the true Lamb of God. This reflection bridges the Old and New Covenants, revealing the beauty of fulfilled prophecy and redemptive design. Tune in for a rich, gospel-centered journey through Scripture.Corrections & Clarifications:In this episode, I mistakenly referred to the Egyptian god Set as “Seth.” This was due to a note-taking issue. “Seth” is the Greek transliteration of Set, and while I had debated using the Greek or English rendering, Set is the more accurate form when referring to the original Egyptian deity.I also briefly used male pronouns in reference to the goddess Nut. This was simply a slip of the tongue—I am fully aware that Nut is a female deity in Egyptian mythology.Lastly, I did not cover the plague of flies in this episode. For clarity, this plague is often associated with the Egyptian god Khepri, who was depicted with the head of a fly or scarab beetle and represented creation, rebirth, and the rising sun.Music:Abstract StyleMusician:QubeSoundsURL:https://pixabay.com/music/abstract-style-121455/

Ep 283Understanding the King James Bible: Inspiration or Tradition?
The discussion centers on the complexities and implications of King James Onlyism, a belief asserting that the King James Bible is the sole authoritative scripture for English-speaking Christians. I elucidate that this ideology encompasses a spectrum of interpretations, with some adherents claiming that the King James Version (KJV) is divinely inspired, while others argue that it simply represents the best translation available. I emphasize the historical context in which the KJV was produced, highlighting its reliance on prior translations and the limited manuscript evidence available at the time. Furthermore, I explore the broader implications of this movement, addressing how it can lead to divisions within the church and affect the perception of biblical authority. Ultimately, we aim to foster a more nuanced understanding of scriptural translation and its significance for contemporary believers. The discourse surrounding King James Onlyism serves as a gateway to understanding broader theological debates within Christianity regarding scriptural authority and the interpretation of sacred texts. This episode thoughtfully examines the historical context of the KJV, emphasizing its significance during the Reformation and the subsequent schisms that arose from differing views on biblical translations. The speakers engage in a critical analysis of the claims made by KJV proponents, exploring the notion that the KJV is the only true translation of the Bible while contrasting it with other versions that have emerged over time. They delve into the complexities of textual criticism, elucidating how modern translations are often based on the same manuscripts as the KJV yet are met with skepticism from its ardent supporters. The conversation challenges listeners to reflect on their own beliefs regarding the Bible's inspiration and the implications of linguistic evolution on scriptural interpretation, ultimately advocating for a nuanced understanding of both historical and contemporary theological positions.Takeaways: The King James Bible is often regarded as the only true version of the Bible by King James Onlyists, who hold that it is the pure and unaltered word of God, essential for Christian practice. King James Onlyism is not a singular movement but consists of various subgroups, each with its own interpretations and beliefs regarding the King James Bible's authority and usage. Historical context reveals that the King James Bible was translated during a time when English was not standardized, and its language was crafted for recitation and memorization, making it unique among translations. The argument that modern translations are corrupt and that the King James is superior is often based on a misunderstanding of textual criticism, as many modern versions are based on the same manuscripts as the King James. Many King James Onlyists are genuinely devoted to the word of God, viewing their adherence to the King James Bible as a matter of reverence and respect for Scripture, despite the divisive nature of the ideology. The translation process of the King James Bible involved significant scholarly work and comparison to earlier versions, making it a product of its time that reflects the linguistic and theological concerns of its translators. S5 Ep 18S5E18 - The Power to Tax (or Tariff?)
The power to tax is the power to destroy, or kill. But for most of U.S. history, tariffs were the primary means by which the federal government acquired revenue. Yet, since the introduction of the income tax in 1913, tariffs have fallen by the wayside. Only recently have tariffs returned from the dead, causing great consternation and debate. But what is a tariff and how does it work? Furthermore, how were tariffs viewed in the past and why did the U.S. switch to the income tax? Ep 336Social Justice: A Biblical Perspective on Today's Issues
Social justice is the hot topic that gets tossed around like a beach ball at a summer picnic, but is it really the fresh concept many claim it to be? This dives into this debate, unraveling how the roots of social justice can be traced way back to Paul's day, showing that the struggle against such ideologies is not a new battle but an age-old one. As they unpack Colossians 2:8, the discussion shifts towards the dangers lurking within the church, warning against the alluring traps of philosophy and empty deception that can ensnare believers. Andrew does not hesitate to point fingers at how contemporary movements, likened to Gnosticism, subtly infiltrate churches, twisting the narrative to fit a human-centric worldview that leaves the truth behind. With clever quips and sharp insights, they emphasize that the real antidote to this captivating error lies not in engaging with these philosophies, but in grounding oneself in the unshakeable truth of Christ.Takeaways:In discussing social justice, Andrew emphasizes that its roots can be traced back to historical contexts, revealing a long-standing debate that resonates today. Andrew humorously notes that while the sermon may seem light on notes, the depth of the conversation around social justice is anything but superficial. The podcast highlights a warning against the allure of false philosophies that can ensnare believers, urging a steadfast adherence to biblical truths instead. A critical point raised is that social justice, while often framed positively, might lead people astray from the core tenets of faith, posing a danger to spiritual integrity. Andrew provocatively questions whether contemporary discussions around social justice are truly new or merely a reiteration of age-old challenges faced by the church historically. Through witty banter, Andrew illustrates how modern philosophical debates echo ancient ones, particularly the Gnostic belief in superior knowledge, which can still mislead believers today. TTR 203 - Understanding True Faith: From Checkbox to Heartfelt Connection
The primary focus of this podcast episode revolves around the distinction between a mere religious practice and a profound relationship with God. We delve into the challenges faced when transitioning from traditional religious obligations to a heartfelt connection with the divine. I share personal anecdotes reflecting on my journey of faith, particularly the pivotal moments that illuminated the importance of relying on God's grace rather than striving for self-improvement through a checklist of actions. The conversation also emphasizes the significance of being present with God in our daily lives, urging listeners to contemplate whether they are engaging in a genuine relationship or merely checking off religious boxes. Ultimately, we invite our audience to reflect on their own spiritual journeys, encouraging them to foster a deeper connection with God that transcends ritualistic practices.Takeaways: In preparing for this weekend's sermon, I undertook the challenge of covering four chapters of Daniel simultaneously, a significant departure from our usual pace of one chapter per week. As I delved into the sermon preparation process, I discovered that the outline and direction for my thoughts were divinely inspired, facilitating my understanding of the material. Throughout our discussion, we reflected on the complexities of balancing life and ministry, acknowledging the mental challenges that arise when juggling multiple responsibilities and commitments. We explored the notion that our relationship with God should transcend mere ritualistic practices, emphasizing the importance of genuine connection over checkbox-style adherence to religious duties.

Ep 340The Book of Mormon: Part 12 (Jacob chapters 6-7)
This episode is part 12 in a series going through the story of the Book of Mormon. In Jacob chapter 6, Jacob uses the allegory of the vineyard from the prophet Zenos mentioned in the previous chapter to call the people of Nephi to reflect and repent. Of course, I point out where I see statements that are borrowed from the Bible. In Jacob chapter 7, Jacob encounters a heretic named Sherem who teaches that no "Christ" will come. After Jacob rebukes him, God strikes Sherem with a fatal illness. Sherem renounces what he taught before. We are left unclear if this was a deathbed conversion or just a heretic fearing judgment from God.I discuss a little about the last statement from the book of Jacob, which is "Brethren, adieu."Further research:Book of Mormon in videoJoseph Smith: The Prophet of the RestorationThe Book of Mormon online: Jacob [chapters 6, 7]*** Please contribute to the Hurricane relief fund for A.M.
