Show Notes:

I have high expectations of myself. I expect to be full of energy all the time, to be happy by default, and dreaming big every day. And, honestly, most of the time I meet those expectations, but the problem with having such high expectations is that we can't meet them every single day – it's literally not possible. And when we don't, we beat ourselves up. How do we reconcile trying to be at our best all the time while giving ourselves valid permission to run on different wavelengths when needed? In this episode, I discuss the delicate balance.
