Baldwin founded the New England Whalers ice hockey franchise in the World Hockey Association (WHA) and retained ownership when the team became the Hartford Whalers and joined the National Hockey League. Baldwin talks about how he was able to secure the franchise, the growth of the WHA, Bobby Hull signing with the startup League, how the Whalers were able to get Gordie Howe and the ultimate merger with the NHL.
