The FIDE Candidates will take place in Madrid (16th June-7th July) and the winner will have the right to challenge Magnus Carlsen to a match for the world title - if he chooses to defend it.
Our chickens will be ranking the players based on their Current form, Motivation, Chances to win, Chances for Magnus to play, and our two specialist subjects - Chickenness and Openings.
The players are: Ding Liren, Alireza Firouzja, Fabiano Caruana, Ian Nepomniatchtchi, Richard Rapport, Hikaru Nakamura, Jan-Krzysztof & Teimour Radjabov.
