Jeff Garzik, CEO of Bloq, on Working With Satoshi: The 1st Bitcoin Conference & How the Big Block Camp was Created
Untold Stories presents Jeff Garzik, co-founder of Bloq this week to share his unique story. He previously worked for the open source software Linux and we use a lot of his work on our Android phones today. Jeff has been a ‘plumber’ for the crypto industry, always thinking of ways to develop the underlying infrastructure. He goes on to share his first hand experience dealing with Satoshi from the very start. He explains how he wrote the first CPU miner for Bitcoin. Jeff later discusses the inception of altcoins, sidechains and the three models for Bitcoin going forward. He also explores how tribalism began in crypto and how the industry has become microtoxic as a result. Jeff also gives his opinion on the advantages and disadvantages of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
