Catholic parishes are closing. Religious and priestly vocations are dwindling. The numbers of those exiting the Church far exceed coming into the Church. Yet it seems that many Church leaders wish for better numbers, while unwilling to consider how and why Catholic communities are failing. Father Robert McTeigue, S.J. asks some hard questions and points towards some unexpected answers.
