This is a great interview but just the beginning. We will have Seth on again in the not-so-distant future. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 72SHOT Show 2022Special #2 - The Williams Sisters
The Williams sisters were kind enough to give me some time so we went to the media room at SHOT and had a little sit down. These women are hilarious and always a joy to speak with. Lots of "BREAKING NEWS" in this episode. I felt like a news anchor. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 71SHOT Show 2022 Special #1 - Canik Rival/Team Canik
Thanks to Nils Jonasson and Frank Xu for taking a few minutes to sit with me and discuss the new Canik Rival and their 2022 shooting seasons. Unfortunately, there was no ceiling to this space. Ep 68Episode 66: Lynda Turnbull, 2-Gun National Champion
This week, Huggy and I get the honor of speaking with Lynda Turnbull. She's the reigning Women's 2-Gun National Champion. Otherwise, enjoy the conversation!! www,casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 65Episode 63 - Chris Gelnett, GM, VA State Champion
This week's guest is Chris Gelnett. He is an Area 8 USPSA shooter that won the VA State match. It was a bitter sweet experience because the VA State match was about 2.5 weeks before Open Nationals and he got a match bump to GM. He was actually at Huggy and Leo's first USPSA match ever and the hilarity ensues as we walk down memory lane with them. Like, comment and share!! www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 64Episode 62 - Gabby Franco, Gold medalist, Top Shot Contestant
This week, the three of us have the honor of talking with Gabby Franco. Gabby represented Venezuela at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, was a 1999 Pan American Games silver medalist, a 2000 South American Games gold medalist and 2002 South American Games three-time gold medalist shooter. You might say she's accomplished a few things. We compare driving in South America (Gabby), Central America (Leo) and Korea (Dave). This is an interesting episode to say the least. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 63Episode 61 - Matt Hopkins, GM, Area 3 Director (USPSA)

Ep 56Episode 54 - Robert Davis, LtCol, USAF Shooting Team

However, he also shoots pistol, 3-gun, subgun, tactical matches and pretty much anything that has to do with pulling a trigger. Take a ride with us as we travel through Europe (figuratively speaking) and learn the Do's and Don'ts, while nearly getting arrested. Fasten your seat belt! www.casualshooterpodcast.com https://www.woundedwarrior.af.mil/

Even at 2+ hours, we leave a lot of stones unturned. This episode could easily be 4 or 5 two-hour episodes. This is literally old-school and new-school talking about things that have changed and things that will never change. Hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 53Episode 51 - Mike Shatalov, Candidate for USPSA President
Last week, you heard how Mike immigrated to the United States as a young man, was a world-class parachutist and became a USPSA Grandmaster. Ep 52Episode 50 - Michael Shatalov, Grand Master
This week we talk to Mike Shatalov. He grew in in the Soviet Union, was rationed food as a kid, joined the US Army and jumped into Russia years later, became a high-level competitive parachutist and is now a Grand Master in the USPSA shooting production, which is dying out like the Soviet Union. We had a great time talking. So much so, we broke this one down into two episodes. Each episode is just over an hour long. Don't forget: You get 15% off at lasrapp.com with our discount code CSP2021 Also, get 10% off HOIST at drinkhoist.com with the discount code CASUALSHOOTER www.casualshooterpodcast.com

We discuss USPSA and PRS shooting. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 50Episode 48 - Rachel Trotta, HOIST
This week, we focus on a different aspect of shooting. If you shot Area 8, you know how hot and muggy it was. I ran across a beverage that claimed to work 110% better than water. That beverage is HOIST. I, Dave, reached out to HOIST and Rachel Trotta accepted my invitation to be on the podcast and talk about it. It is, by far, the best hydration beverage I have ever drank. It will forever be the only beverage I ever drink when trying to maintain hydration and I'm not getting paid to say that. If you would like to try it and see what all the hype is about, use Casual Shooter at checkout to save 10% (nope...we are not getting any kickbacks). Ep 49Episode 47 - Matt Nash, Part 2
This is the other half of our conversation with Matthew Nash. You can find links to his IG, YT and website on our website. www.casualshooterpodcast.com

Ep 47Episode 45 - Grant Kunkel, World Champion
This week, Leo and I interview Grant Kunkel. He is the 2021 World Speed Shooting Champion and the owner of 13 World Records. Not only did he crush the World Record time for his division by 5 seconds, he beat the fastest aggregate time overall by 2.5 seconds! He's a Lanny Bassham protégé without Lanny even knowing it. Tune in to find out how he does it and his ultimate goal. Leo and I determine the secret to raising kids to be world champion shooters but you have to listen to learn the secrets. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 46Episode 44 - Ben Campomanes/Sam Sutphin, LASR App
This week, Leo and I talk to Ben Campomanes (Owner/CEO) and Sam Sutphin (Operations Manager) of LASR App. This is a very intriguing product. It uses a camera (webcam, cell phone, etc) to capture laser impulses from pistols. Not only that, the software has built in timers to record everything you do. With one camera, you can designate up to 20 targets. With wifi, you can link multiple cameras and run an entire array of targets in training in different rooms or around obstacles requiring movement. This product is really only limited by your imagination. We even get into a discussion about this product and precision rifle training and the use of lasers in recoil operated systems. It would be very easy to get lost in a rabbit hole of IT wonders dreaming things up and ways to use this product. With the cost of ammunition these days, this might be one piece of the puzzle to get the practice you need to become better, faster. Check out their website. The link can be found on our website: www.casualshooterpodcast.com If you use CSP2021, you can get 15% off your pre-tax/shipping total.
Ep 45Episode 43 - Jalise & Justine Williams, National Champions
This week, Leo and I had the pleasure of interviewing the Williams sisters, Jalise and Justine. Between them, they have a world record, 9 national records, 39 national titles, 2 black belts in karate, they hunt, they fish and read Bill O'Reilly. What you won't find on their resume is dancing nor broccoli. Enjoy! www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 44Episode 42 - Area 8 Championship, Keanu Sy & Stephen Van
This week, Leo and I speak with Keanu Sy and Stephen Van about Area 8. Keanu is the Match Director, as he was last year. Stephen is the Assistant match Director. We discuss all things Area 8 to include last year's match. And, the public unveiling of the Area 8 match jersey. We even talk about some controversy surrounding the stages. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 43Episode 41 - Jason Bradley, USPSA GM, Canik Sponsored Shooter
This week we welcome Jason Bradley to the show. I've been wanting to have him on. As soon as I saw that he is now sponsored by Canik, it became imperative. In 2019, Jason finished 16 at USPSA Nationals shooting Carry Optics. Early 2020, he switched to the Canik SFx and continued with Carry Optics. He placed 2nd behind Max Michel at Factory Gun Nationals in October of last year. Last month, he became an officially sponsored shooter. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 42Episode 40 - Bill Duda, Go Fast Don't Suck
E******NSFW******EXPLICIT LANGUAGE****** This week, we interview Bill Duda, owner of Go Fast Don't Suck. He's also the OG USPSA meme maker. If you've been around long enough, there's a chance he has made fun of you by immortalizing you in a meme. We discuss shooting, Go Fast Don't Suck products, match sponsorships and other things. This is definitely rated NC-17. Check out the website for links. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 41Episode 39 - David Ankeny, MD, VA State Championship
This week, it's just Leo and Me. Huggy had family obligations that prevented him from being present. Our guest this week is David Ankeny. He is the Match Director for the Virginia State Championship. He's been the MD for that match since 2019. We talk about everything match related, including last year's record number of DQ's and why. As usual, you can find all of the links to the match and social media pages on our website. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 40Episode 38 - US Navy Action Shooting Team
This week, join the three of us as we welcome Lt's Jeremy Lightner and Marc Santos to the podcast. Jeremy is the USN AST Captain even though he is a Lt which is actually a Captain. I know that sounds confusing but it is explained in the podcast. Just as we did with the USAF AST, we cover a lot of ground. There's a lot of show and tell in this episode. It might behoove you to check out the YouTube version as well if you actually want to see what they are sharing. I'd like to thank the both of them for coming on the show and their Commander for authorizing their presence. It was another excellent show with plenty of laughs. As usual, you can find links to the USN AST social media page, as well as their personal links, on the website. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
S1 Ep 39Episode 37 - Logan Saunders
This week, Huggy and I interview Logan Saunders. He's a local (Richmond, VA) USPSA shooter that has recently competed in PCC, CO and Open. His "Open" gun is a .357 Sig with an optic, not your usual Open gun. He's also a RO that has worked the VA State Championship, Area 8 Championship and last year's Factory Gun Nationals (CO and Production). I introduce a new game called "Ask the RO." I play a short video and the RO makes the call. If you like shooting and WWE-style wrestling, this is the episode for you. If laughing is hazardous to your health, avoid this episode. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 38Episode 36 - Gianni Giordano, GM Junior Shooter
This week, we invite Gianni Giordano onto the podcast. If you don't know Gianni, suffice it to say he has finished in the Top 10 at Limited Nationals the last two years and just finished second at Limited 10 Nationals. He's 17 but has been shooting competitively for quite some time (I don't want to spoil how long it has been). While he is a serious competitor and wants to win, he hasn't lost sight of having fun. If you're a numbers nerd like me, Dave, check the statistics on our website. The Division Popularity spreadsheet updates after every major match. If I'm missing one, let me know so I can add it. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 37Episode 35 - Daniel Anderson
This week, Leo and I interview Daniel Anderson on the show. Daniel is new to USPSA (8 months) and is a regular listener. He won the Hunters HD Gold glasses that we gave away. This episode revolves heavily around LOCAP Nationals and his experience there. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 36Episode 34 - USAF Action Shooting Team
This week, Leo, Chris and I interview two members of the United States Air Force Action Shooting Team. It's a fun interview with a lot of information. It is befitting that we interview a military shooting team for Memorial Day. Please remember those military members that gave up their lives for our freedom. www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 35Episode 33 - Julie Golob, World/National Champion
This week we have a full house. All of us are here to welcome Julie Golob to the show. Julie is the only female USPSA Ladies National Champion. She's the ONLY shooter of either sex to have won a National Championship in all 7 USPSA pistol divisions. She is, without question, the most decorated women's action pistol shooter in the history of action pistol shooting. On top of that, she has an amazing personality and sense of humor. You can find links to her social media and website below: www.casualshooterpodcast.com
Ep 34Episode 32 - Riley Bowman, Concealedcarry.com
Welcome to this weeks episode of the podcast. Our guest this week comes by way of concealedcarry.com and it is Riley Bowman. He runs the podcast on that site and covers anything and everything concealed carry. However, he is also a USPSA Master-class shooter in Carry Optics. We discuss concealed carry as well as competition shooting. You can find all of the links at www.casualshooterpodcast.com
