Show Notes
The state suffers from a shortage of caregivers, and officials admit they "struggle with recruiting and retaining" people. During 2021, nearly 7,000 children were placed in out-of-home care. In the 2023 fiscal year, officials had to place hundreds of foster children in emergency housing—like unlicensed hotel rooms—4,570 times. Washington's Department of Children, Youth, and Families established a new policy requiring foster parents to promise to promote the agency's gender ideology to a hypothetical child or young person under their care. Caregivers Shane and Jennifer DeGross will not support this ideology and have filed a lawsuit to push back. They join us to discuss their case, along with their ADF counsel, Johannes Widmalm-Delphonse. We also look at a case in Finland, Title IX, a Soros DA goes down in Portland, and more!
