Caroline and David discussed the state of the war on the ground and the prospects for ending it. They discussed how the war has impacted the United States’ reputation as an ally and a global superpower, how it has impacted regional realities in the Middle East in light of Russia’s burgeoning alliance with Iran, and how Israel needs to assess its relationship with the U.S., with Russia and China as Iran strides towards a declared nuclear arsenal and the U.S. sinks in stature, competence and credibility.
