Show Notes

Nearly 60% of all jobs in the U.S. today require a college degree. This may sound great, but the cultural shift away from skilled trades and our obsession with college has led to a lack of qualified workers in America that can perform the vital jobs our country needs to remain free and independent. In less than fifteen years America has gone from over 2M job openings to 11.4M jobs available that require community college, attending a trade school or an on-the-job apprenticeship. As a result, America is losing its manufacturing base and we’re relying on foreign adversaries, in some cases, at the risk of our own national security and freedom. Carl argues that if America does not embrace skilled trade workers again, we’re finished.
