Ep 50stephanie hock: making the most of your unique creative journey, & where to start organizing
meet my friend stephanie hock! shortly after having our twins and jumping back into my art career, i met steph via instagram. soon we were meeting up with other painting gals regularly, swapping art hacks, tools, and forming great friendships. we've planned and participated in shows together and steph has been a great supporter to so many of us. one of the most interesting things about steph is that she attended several schools and art programs, she's also taken workshops and has so many things she's learned on her atypical art journey. if you've ever felt like you took a wrong turn or wondered why your route looks so different, you'll love hearing from steph. mother of 4 (including twins), steph is a great example of how you can give up some things to achieve something more. we joke as friends that steph is our most organized art friend. she share some organizational ideas for those just getting started. enjoy!connect with stephanie:websiteinstagramjoin katrina's SWEETlist & keep in touch CONNECT WITH ME:katrinaberg.comemail: [email protected] my SWEETlist (my email list)instagram @katrina.berg LEAVE ME FEEDBACK: - what should i talk about next? let me know in the comments below. - did you enjoy this episode? if so, leave me a review!

Ep 49what to do when your artwork is copied, how to cope, protect yourself, & move on

Ep 27artist tips: how to wire original paintings, where to put the wire & hardware
how should i frame, mount, & wire my original painting? where do i put the wire? do museums and galleries have a standard distance and length to attach hardware & wire? in my experience, galleries and museums i've worked with prefer 2-D artwork to be wired securely, prerably using D-rings (not sawtooth claws). for my artwork, i prefer to have the hardware and wire as close to the top of the frame or cradle as possible to avoid the top of the artwork hanging away from the wall. this is my first "crossover" podcast episode/youtube video!
