- Statistics Canada reported that the housing market contributed more to the gross domestic product, totalling approximately $267 billion.
- If inflation reaches the target of 2-3%, the Bank of Canada would feel comfortable to cautiously reduce interest rates slowly to see how it impacts that inflation.
