  • Growth trajectory: Condos grew from less than 10% of Canadian homes before 1981 to 40-50% in recent years, with exponential growth since 1997.
  • Multiplex stratification: Montreal and Vancouver have long embraced stratifying multiplexes into individually owned condo units, while Toronto is just beginning to explore this approach.
