A workplace death at a Halifax, Nova Scotia Walmart has become international news due to the incidents unimaginably horrific circumstances.
19 year old Gursimran Kaur and her mother worked together at a Halifax Walmart. During their evening shift on Oct 19th, Gursimran’s mother grew increasingly worried after not seeing her daughter for over an hour. She searched the store, asking coworkers for help. But nothing could have prepared her for the devastating discovery that awaited her in the bakery’s oven.
In this episode I share what we know about the circumstances of Gursimran’s death and do my best to understand how this may have happened.
