Episode 11 features Cathy Long - Lauryn Turner - Chief Operating Officer at USA Gymnastics
Turner joined USA Gymnastics in March 2020, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in the sports industry. She most recently served as Vice President, Development for Varsity Brands where she led the cross-divisional growth initiative that spanned affiliate companies Herff Jones, BSN Sports, and Varsity Spirit. Turner also served as the organization's National Director, Development, Sales and Operations where she oversaw business growth in the event and apparel sectors. In this role, Turner worked with a network of gyms across the country to provide competition and business-strategy support as well as essential educational resources.
Throughout her career, Turner has garnered extensive experience in the areas of strategic planning and development and as a catalyst for positive change through collaboration and analytical business management.
