Ep 86EP 86 // When Purpose Meets Peace, Hannah Munn’s Journey into the Fight Against Human Trafficking

Hey sweet friend, In this episode of The Business of Inner Peace, I’m sharing a powerful conversation I had with Hannah Munn, Global Advocate at Love Justice International. This organization works in more than 20 countries to prevent human trafficking and share the love of Jesus. Hannah shares the moment that changed the direction of her life. At Passion 2013, she encountered the reality of human trafficking and felt a clear calling from God to dedicate her life to the fight against injustice. That calling has taken her across the world. Over the past decade she has lived and worked in Nepal and South Africa, traveling to more than 10 countries to help design and implement Love Justice International’s transit monitoring model. It’s a groundbreaking strategy that intercepts people in the process of being trafficked. We talk about what it’s like to step into work that feels bigger than you, how faith can guide the path, and the surprising ways purpose can bring a deep sense of inner peace. Hannah also shares about her current season of life. She now leads Intercept Partners, Love Justice’s monthly giving community, while spending more time at home in South Africa with her husband and three young children. This conversation is honest, inspiring, and a beautiful reminder that when we say yes to what we feel called to do, peace often follows. I’m so grateful Hannah joined me, and I can’t wait for you to hear her story. If you’d like to connect with Hannah or learn more about the work Love Justice International is doing around the world, you can visit: https://www.lovejustice.ngo/ You can also watch more of their work and stories here: https://www.youtube.com/@LoveJusticeIntl/videos

Ep 85EP 85 // For the Wife Crying in the Bathroom at Night

Hey sweet friend, Today’s episode is a little different. I’m not teaching steps or giving strategy. I’m reading a letter I wrote to a version of myself I almost lost. It’s for the wife crying in the bathroom at night. The one who feels alone in her own marriage. The one who’s been called too sensitive, too emotional, maybe even negative. The one who’s exhausted from trying to explain why words hurt and tired of questioning whether she’s the problem. If that’s you, this episode is for you. I share honestly about what it looked like to slowly rebuild my identity in Christ, to stop absorbing labels that were never mine to carry, and to begin trusting my voice again. Not overnight. Not dramatically. But step by step. If you’d like to read the full letter, you can find it on my Substack here: https://bit.ly/erinjeansubstack If this episode felt personal, that’s because it is. And if you’re in a place where you need someone to talk to privately, you don’t have to comment publicly or explain yourself to the world. You can email me directly at: [email protected] Or send me a private message on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thebusinessofinnerpeace/ I read every message, and you are not alone. I’m so glad you’re here. With so much love, Erin Jean

Ep 84EP 84 // Why “Biblical” Marriage Advice Isn’t Working — and What God Wants to Heal First

Hey sweet friend, This one’s tender… and maybe a little bold. Today I’m talking about why so much “biblical” marriage advice isn’t actually helping women like us — and what God really wants to heal first. If you’ve ever felt like you’ve done everything right — prayed harder, submitted, surrendered, stayed faithful — and your marriage still hurts… This episode is for you. I’m sharing the phrases I heard from the church that left me feeling more broken than seen. I’m gently unpacking how trauma and nervous system survival make “just obey” advice feel impossible. And I’m reminding you that God doesn’t want your performance — He wants your restoration. You don’t have to keep suffering silently. There’s another way to heal. And it starts with your heart. 💌 If you’re ready to go deeper, join the waitlist for Peaceful Metamorphosis — my 12-week Christ-centered journey for women who want to stay married… but can’t keep doing it this way. Ep 83EP 83 // The 2 Marriage Lies Keeping Christian Women Stuck in Silent Suffering

Hey sweet friend, This one’s tender. And maybe a little disruptive — in the best kind of way. If you’ve been doing all the things to save your marriage… praying, reading books, submitting, showing up again and again… and it still hurts? This episode is for you. I’m breaking open two common lies Christian women are told about marriage that actually keep us stuck in silent suffering — and sharing the moment everything shifted for me. You’ll hear: • The words God whispered to me on the bathroom floor that changed everything • Why healing your marriage doesn’t start with “trying harder” • And what actually begins to shift when you stop trying to fix him — and start letting God heal you ✨ If this speaks to you, the waitlist for Peaceful Metamorphosis is open now. We begin soon, and it’s going to be sacred. 💌 Join us: bit.ly/waitlistpm You are not too much. You are not too late. Let’s begin your healing — together. With love, Erin Jean

Ep 82EP 82 // The Path Back to Inner Peace for Educators: A Conversation with Camille Scow

Hey Sweet Friends! Today’s conversation is such a special one. I’m sitting down with Camille Scow—a former classroom teacher turned life coach and the host of The Connected Teacher podcast—and she shares her story with so much honesty and heart. Camille opens up about her own struggle inside the classroom, a season that dropped her into a place of deep shame and self-doubt, and how heavy that experience truly was. What I love most is that the tools Camille now teaches educators are the very same ones she used to guide herself out of that dark place and back into inner peace. We talk about trauma, self-compassion, nervous system awareness, and what it really looks like to support teachers as whole humans—not just professionals. If you’re an educator, or someone who cares deeply about teachers, this episode is a gentle reminder that healing is possible, clarity can return, and inner peace is not out of reach—even after hard seasons. We’ll talk about what it means to welcome others with intention, how our words shape reality, and why honoring our differences matters so deeply. Hey Sweet Friend! What if the breakthrough you’re praying for isn’t about doing more — but healing deeper? In this episode, I'm unpacking the truth about manifestation from a Christian lens. Ep 79EP 79 //Recognizing Covert Narcissism: A Journey from Manipulation to Empowerment

Hey Sweet Friends! This week’s conversation is one I think so many women will relate to — and honestly, it’s one that moved me deeply. I sat down with author and therapist, Kasia Dodd, to talk about her brand new book, "The Chameleon’s Game", and her personal journey of healing after a 12-year relationship with a covert narcissist. Kasia’s story is powerful — not because it’s dramatic, but because it’s real. She shares what it was like to slowly wake up inside a relationship built on emotional manipulation and control… and how she used tools like EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), self-awareness, and perspective shifts to find her way back to herself. What I love most about this conversation is that it isn’t just about narcissism — it’s about healing, reclaiming peace, and remembering who you are after seasons that leave you questioning everything. We talked about the difference between narcissistic traits and personality disorders, the subtle stages of these kinds of relationships, and how to gently move from confusion to clarity. If you’ve ever felt small in love, doubted your worth, or struggled to understand what went wrong in a relationship, I think this episode will give you hope — and a few powerful “aha” moments too. 🎧 Listen to The Business of Inner Peace wherever you get your podcasts or at erinjeancoach.com. And if you’ve ever wondered whether it’s too late to start healing or dreaming again — this episode is a reminder that it’s not. 💫 You can learn more about Kasia and grab a copy of her new book at https://katarzynadodd.com Sending you love, light and hope for healing, Erin Jean P.S. Ep 78EP 78 //The Breakthrough I Didn’t See Coming: Joy, Dreams & Letting Go of the Inner Critic

Hey Sweet Friends! In this deeply personal episode, I’m sharing a breakthrough that caught me completely off guard — and changed the way I see success, self-worth, and what’s really been holding me back. After hitting a wall in September, I began working with a coach who gently helped me uncover a long-buried pattern… one that traced all the way back to childhood. From inherited criticism to the heartbreaking belief that “I don’t actually get to have my dreams,” this story is for anyone who’s ever felt stuck, unseen, or afraid to want more. If you’ve been questioning your direction, doubting your value, or quietly dimming your dreams — you are so not alone. This episode is an invitation to breathe deeper, dream bigger, and return to the joy of being fully you. 💛 If you’re ready to explore your own inner landscape and rewrite the stories holding you back, I’d love to support you. Ep 72EP 72 //Control vs Connection: Parenting Through Provocative Moments

Hey Sweet Friends! Today’s episode comes straight from the heart — and honestly, straight from real life. I’m sharing a very personal story about my 16-year-old daughter, some bold concert outfit choices, and the powerful choice I had to make as her mom: do I reach for control, or lean into connection? This conversation isn’t just about parenting. It’s about healing what we were taught about modesty, our bodies, and what it means to be “good” girls — especially if, like me, you grew up in the church. We’re diving into: ✨ Why I chose conversation over criticism ✨ How I navigated my own discomfort around her clothing ✨ The shame messages we internalized as girls (and how they still show up) ✨ What God really wants for us — and our daughters ✨ And why choosing connection doesn’t mean abandoning boundaries This episode is for the mamas… and the inner daughters inside all of us who were told to shrink, cover up, and be quiet. 💛 Come continue the conversation with us inside my new Facebook group! Hey Sweet Friends! I’m so excited to tell you about our latest podcast episode. You’re gonna love this one! So, you know how I’ve been really into exploring the connection between faith and manifestation lately? Well, I had the most amazing guest on the show - Morgan Hamer. She’s this incredible Manifesting Mentor and the founder of Morgan Manifests. Trust me, she’s not your typical “woo-woo” guide - she’s super fun, real, and totally obsessed with helping women like us tap into our inner magic. Let me tell you, Morgan’s story is wild! She used to be burnt out and frustrated, just like many of us have felt at times. But then she went on this incredible journey of self-discovery, diving into everything from psychology to quantum physics. And get this - she even developed some pretty amazing intuitive abilities along the way! In this episode, we chat about how to align our manifestation practices with God’s will. It’s all about creating that abundant, authentic life we dream of while staying true to our faith. Morgan shares some really practical strategies that have helped her manifest some pretty incredible things in her life - like a wonderful relationship and a thriving business. What I love most about Morgan is how relatable she is. She’s silly, weird (in the best way!), and so down-to-earth. It feels like you’re just having a heart-to-heart with a good friend who’s been there, done that, and wants to help you succeed too. Whether you’re a total skeptic or already into manifestation, I promise you’ll get something valuable out of this episode. It’s all about empowering ourselves to create the life we truly desire, with God at the center of it all. So grab your favorite drink, get comfy, and join us for this inspiring conversation.
