MahaPariNirvana Part 47. Shakyamuni digs into the difference of potential and the expression of potential. He uses the analogies of butter, milk, cream and ghee to illustrate potential within all beings and the need for a process to express the potential, Buddhahood. That potential already “exists” within the human being, but can only be expressed through the process of the practice.
