Ohio State has announced the first Iron Buckeye award winners of 2026, recognizing the players who dominated winter strength and conditioning workouts at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
The Buckeyes honored Jeremiah Smith, Brandon Inniss, Jaylen McClain, and Garrett Stover for their "unquestionable training, dedication, discipline, toughness, and leadership" during the offseason program.
Jeremiah Smith continues to build an incredible reputation inside the program, earning Iron Buckeye honors for the fourth consecutive workout cycle, dating back to his freshman year. Meanwhile, veteran leaders Brandon Inniss and Jaylen McClain are helping set the tone for Ohio State's offense and defense heading into the 2026 season.
The biggest surprise on the list may be linebacker Garrett Stover, who hasn't yet played a major defensive role but clearly impressed the coaching staff with his work ethic and athleticism during winter workouts.
