Randy Eckers, chair of the real estate finance practice for Akerman LLP, wants to raise awareness for the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program or C-PACE. This avenue for financing has plenty of potential for CRE projects aimed at environmental improvements in existing and new properties. Through C-PACE, developers, owners, investors, and operators can access low-cost, long-term, fixed rate upfront financing across CRE markets.
