It's taken a long time, but it looks like Canada is finally going to commit two percent of its GDP to defence spending. That's what NATO has called for for years, but Canada has dodged and weaved on the commitment and failed to meet the goal. Yesterday, Prime Minister Carney said the time is now and Canada will deliver. Is it smoke, mirrors or the truth? Perry Tsergas and Fred DeLorey have their thoughts on that.
