At first glance, immigrants may be surprised by the high salaries in Switzerland, especially compared to salaries in their home countries. However, they are not only surprised by the salaries, but also by the prices of bread, food, rent, movies, restaurants, clothes; the cost of living in Switzerland is generally high.
For this reason, Cheijas guest is Ema, known by her youtube channel Nómada – Ema Rizo Patrón, where she shares tips to help migrant people to deal with economic matters in Switzerland.
Zuwanderer*innen sind auf den ersten Blick vielleicht von den hohen Gehältern in der Schweiz überrascht, vor allem im Vergleich zu den Gehältern in ihren Heimatländern. Sie sind aber nicht nur von den Gehältern überrascht, sondern auch von den Preisen für Brot, Lebensmittel, Miete, Kino, Restaurants, Kleidung; die Lebenshaltungskosten in der Schweiz sind im Allgemeinen hoch.
