China insists that India withdraw its troops from the disputed plateau on the Himalayan mountains. In what is the worst confrontation between the two countries in decades, the Chinese government says it will only enter into talks with India once its troops have been pulled back from the plateau.
And India is experiencing a rapidly growing robotics industry. This has seen more companies in India using automation technology. The World Bank warns that automation could put at least 70 percent of jobs in the country at risk.
Lastly, India has introduced a Goods and Services Tax (GST), the biggest tax reform in the country. The GST will transform India into a common market, making it easier to do business in the country by simplifying the tax structure and ensuring greater compliance
