Yen Siew San, the CEO of Continental Automotive Malaysia, tells the history of the company under different shareholders, the megatrends of the auto industry, what he thinks about the future of electric cars, and what he thinks the national auto agenda should be premised on. Continental Automotive accounts for two thirds of Continental's group revenue. In Malaysia, it supplies instrument clusters to Perodua, and the engine management system to Proton. Most of its production is for the export market.
