Varun Garg, Director, Head of Marketing, AmEx, Singapore in conversation with Ashutosh Garg

Varun Garg is currently the Director, Head of Marketing for Consumer Cards Singapore. His responsibilities include driving portfolio growth leveraging various assets, capabilities and best practices. Prior to this, Varun has held multiple roles across the Global Network Services division based in Singapore. He started as part of the Management Associate Program and has worked in the Marketing and Business Development teams working with cross-functional teams, with our bank partners in multiple markets across the Asia Pacific region. In his 12 years with American Express, he has been at the center of numerous initiatives to drive strategic planning, business development, new product development, various marketing initiatives and also business compliance initiatives.   Varun also has an MBA degree from London Business School, London and completed his undergraduate degree from Singapore Management University. In his free time, he runs a successful cricket podcast called “Edges & Sledges” which is across all major platforms.
