Make In India has become an attractive phrase, especially since 2014 Narendra Modi’s Government in India. “Make In India” as a concept was also encouraged when India opened up its economy in 1991. In today’s episode, we discuss the success of Maini group, an Indian group that consists of companies that have domestic and international operations in the fields of automotive, aerospace, material handling warehousing storage solutions, plastics, and composites, and electric and autonomous mobility solutions. The business that had the concept of “Make In India” in its ethos ever since it started in 1973 during Licence Raj.

Mr. Sandeep Maini is the Chairman of Maini Group.
He is an industrial and production engineer from the Manipal Institute of Technology.
Sandeep started his career in Maini Group in 1989. And took over as the chairman in 2007.
Sandeep is also chairman of Karnataka of CII for Karnataka state and is presently the Regional Chair for YPO Gold, South Asia.
