Madhavi has taken up several types of courses like organic and natural farming, yoga, and even early childhood education. She started a composting unit in Hyderabad where she observed that there is no alternative to plastic whatsoever. Hence Madhavi along with her husband took up organic farming full time with a goal to create biodegradable products. They launched Vistaraku, a venture that offers organic leaf plates and bowls.
