Manisha Lad is the founder and Executive Director of Akhil autism Foundation, director of Akhil health Foods. Before starting this, she had spent 16 years in information technology. Then she quit her career in IT to work for autistic children. To date, nobody knows what causes autism in children. It is diagnosed simply on the basis of some symptoms like lack of verbal or non-verbal communication, isolation, or aggressive behavior.
