ACM has a 76-year-old history and over 4 million users. It has about 38 special interest groups among which, many are the top groups in their fields. It has the top awards in the industry. It is the number one digital library for computing science research. Today we have Yannis with us to tell us more about the organization.

About Prof Yannis Ioannidis

  • He is the President of ACM - Association of Computer Machinery, the oldest computing science organization.

  • He is a Professor of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of Athens.

  • He is a very optimistic person and aims to make ACM a sustainable organization.
