<p>The human body is a marvel that, when studied, has brought many to faith. Our design confesses a Designer. Then there’s the moment in history when the Designer was revealed through a human body. Jesus made the invisible God visible like never before. <p>We cannot grasp all of God. And we do not know all that God knows. But there is a mystery of God that has been revealed to us. This weekend, Hunter Wheatcraft teaches Colossians 1:24-2:5, and the riches of this mystery revealed.</p>

<p>What does maturity in Christ mean? This weekend, Josh Brake brings us a word out of Colossians 1:24-2:5.</p>

<p>Jesus is not looking for a promotion. He’s already been appointed Lord of all. But He is looking for our trust. It’s difficult to live out His supremacy over all things if we doubt His sufficiency. This weekend we’re soaking in Colossians 1:15-23 as we continue our journey in Colossians.</p>

<p>This weekend, we begin to walk through the book of Colossians together. Along the way, we’ll talk frankly about “deconstruction” and how Colossians speaks of “reality” being in Christ.</p>

<p>Did you know that shame slows us down neurologically? That’s not the only way shame interferes with our flourishing. Learning how to deal with shame makes a practical difference in our capacity to live in healthy ways. This weekend, we explore why it matters that Adam and Eve felt no shame before sin entered the picture. We also learn how to deal with shame in our lives now that it is in the picture.</p>

<p>This weekend our Flourish series continues by exploring the relationship between authority, power, and flourishing in our lives. What does it mean that God gave human beings a certain measure of authority and power to make a meaningful difference in our world?</p>

<p>A lot of us tend to compartmentalize our relationship with God from “life in the real world.” It’s as though we have our “spiritual” lives and then our “secular” lives. But from the beginning, our “life in the real world” was meant to be a part of our relationship with God. This understanding has everything to do with “flourishing” in the real world.</p>

<p>“You heavens above, rain down my righteousness; let the clouds shower it down.</p><p>Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness flourish with it; I, the Lord, have created it.” - Isaiah 45:8</p>

<p>This weekend we begin a new series for the new year.</p><p>The word “flourish” in the Scriptures means to “bud, sprout, bloom,</p><p>to break forth, to break out, to spring up, to grow healthy...</p><p>vigorous.” You could consider “Flourish” to be our word of the year.</p>
