Pres. Biden Goes To The Kingdom

With gas prices bullying us into submission and inflation deflating our bank accounts, U.S. President Joe Biden travelled to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in July to make his case before the Saudi King. Hopes were held high that not only would Biden get the Kingdom to produce more oil in order to lower prices but that he would also hold Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman accountable for the brutal murder of Washington Post journalist, Jamal Khashoggi. Those hopes were very quickly dashed.Former CIA Officer, whistleblower, and now journalist John Kiriakou was there on the ground covering the event for the Scheer Report and he witnessed firsthand how Biden turned a fist bump into a face plant. Recently, Kiriakou sat down with Gov. Jesse Ventura to discuss Biden’s trip, U.S. Foreign Policy in the region and the latest news on the persecution of Julian Assange. Enjoy. Nope Means Yes

As the summer movie season rages on, one unique and original film is this years diamond in the rough. In what is now a rarity in cinema, director Jordan Peele’s new film Nope isn’t based on a pre-existing property, it’s not a sequel, and its not the beginning of a brand new franchise. It is instead a wholly original summer blockbuster that dares to make audiences think for their entertainment. A truly daring concept in the age of spoon-fed plots and mass appeal corporate cinema. So how did this daring film make it onto summer movie screens? Tyrel Ventura sits down with author and Georgetown Professor, Chris Chambers to discuss Nope and its maverick director, Jordan Peele.Christopher Chambers is a professor at Georgetown University in Washington DC and Chair of the International Conflict Resolution Center. He is also an avid film buff, and the author of best selling crime novels, a graphic novel, and numerous award-winning short stories, including “I, Shuri,” in Marvel’s Tales of Wakanda. His latest book, Scavenger, features a homeless addict turned a private investigator; that character returns in Standalone, coming in October. This is a public episode. Election Shenanigans In North Carolina

Welcome to the Independent Streak Podcast, only on Jesse Ventura’s Die First, Then Quit. Here we showcase candidates, activists, and influencers who are fighting to bring something new, fresh, and game changing to the worlds of politics and pop culture. On this episode, Gov. Jesse Ventura sits down with the Green Party U.S. Senate candidate out of North Carolina, Matthew Hoh.Soldier, Peace Advocate, and now U.S. Senate Candidate, Matthew Hoh has never been afraid to stand tall in the face of corruption and unchecked power. Serving ten years in the Marine Corp, as well as holding important positions within the U.S. State Department, Hoh has seen the true face of U.S. foreign policy and the Military Industrial Complex’s influence over it. After witnessing first hand the United States invasions and subsequent failures in nation building in both Iraq and Afghanistan, Hoh famously resigned his position with the State Dept. in 2009. With The Washington Post acknowledged at the time, that Hoh……became the first U.S. official known to resign in protest over the Afghan war, which he had come to believe simply fueled the insurgency. In the ensuing years, Hoh, has been an outspoken critic of U.S. foreign policy as well as Corporate America’s undue influence over our elected officials. He has been appeared on hundreds of news programs and television networks including the BBC, CBS, CNN, CSPAN, Fox, NBC, MSNBC, NPR, and Pacifica. Now, after years of speaking truth to power, Hoh is running for the United States Senate on the Green Party ticket in North Carolina. Controversy, however, has erupted on the campaign trail as the N.C. State Board of Elections recently voted to deny recognition of Matthew Hoh and the Green Party, effectively keeping them off this Novembers ballet. On this edition of the Independent Streak podcast, Gov. Jesse Ventura sat down with Matthew Hoh to discuss his run for office and the Democratic Party’s rather undemocratic attempts to keep him off the ballot. This is a public episode. Independent Streak Ep. 2

In this ongoing series here on Jesse Ventura’s Die First, Then Quit we will be giving a platform and showcasing candidates, activists, and influencers who are fighting to bring something new, fresh, and game changing to the worlds of politics and pop culture. In this episode, Tyrel Ventura drove out to the rural farm lands of western Minnesota to sit down with the 3rd party candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, Travis “Bull” Johnson.A long time Libertarian but currently running under the Legal Marijuana Now Party, Johnson is aiming to win Minnesota’s 7th Congressional District with his unique brand of no-nonsense honesty and blue collar work ethic. Although his district has a long history of voting GOP red, “Bull” has been gaining serious momentum on all sides of the political spectrum. While his support of the 2nd Amendment and passion for downsizing the federal government wins him much needed conservative votes, his stance on ending the Drug War, rolling back the Military Industrial Complex, and ending corporate America’s stranglehold over the U.S. Government has drawn him praise and support from his left leaning constituents as well. With his staunch desire to tear down the two party dictatorship by winning his race for the U.S. House, the 20 year Army veteran Travis “Bull” Johnson is the epitome of a true independent statesman and that makes him the perfect candidate for the Independent Streak podcast here on Jesse Ventura’s Die First, Then Quit. Independent Streak

In a new series here on Jesse Ventura’s Die First, Then Quit we will be giving a platform and showcasing candidates, activists, and influencers who are fighting to bring something new, fresh, and game changing to the worlds of politics and pop culture. In this inaugural episode, Tyrel Ventura sits down with Minnesota State Senate candidate Huldah Hiltsley to discuss the trials, tribulations, and successes she has faced, not only, on the 2022 campaign trail but throughout her very unique life. Including her family’s incredibly heartwarming story involving legendary Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone. A moment in her life that directly ties into her historic run for Senate.Though she is aiming to win the nomination and run on the Democratic Party ticket this November, Huldah’s grassroots, community organizer passion to represent with honesty and accountability the over eight-five thousand residents of her district makes her stand out from rest of the two-party pack. Add in the fact that she refuses to take lobbyist money and that her dedication to change the system from the inside out is shaking up the old money, old politics, status quo of the Minnesota Democratic Party and you, my friends, have got the makings for a truly independent, one-of-a-kind candidate. The kind of candidate that we like to feature here on Jesse Ventura’s Die First, Then Quit.
