There are many adjectives that can be used to describe what it is like to be an American, or an American Christian. One of those adjectives: loud. Our lives, schedules, workplaces, activities, families, and even worship fellowships can be quite noisy and stressful. But if we are to emulate Christ, then we need to value the occasional silent retreat, to escape the crowds and the noise and the stress. It is in these times that we can strengthen our relationship with God and find peace. Note: This teaching was recorded on 10-31-2021.
