The Blue Collar Offroad Podcast

Last weekend several of us had the opportunity to go to 508 intl and run the Jeeps and buggies on the motocross track between SxS runs. Lots of really cool offroad racecars doing racecar things, and we watched Colin's Jeep learn how to properly fly.

@Mustangxjcraig Joins us to talk about wheeling all over America, his sweet street driven rig on 42s, going fast on 2 wheels and building a big jeep with some different ideas. Awesome talk and a great guy to check out.

Shortly After the Trail Trash M&B another shitbox meetup was brewing and aimed at Missouri. We saw some pretty great photos and heard some good things about the trip afterwards. So keeping with our recent theme we dragged Curtis and Nick back on to give us the rundown on what happened at SMORR.

The Meet and Beat is old news at this point but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to talk with Bart and Brad. Brad's a new face to the podcast so we cover details on his rig, walk through their experience at the Meet and Beat, and figure out just what exactly a trail ninja is...

With the theft of the podcast 81 we have this after hours conversation between Luke and Graham to post. Our efforts to figure out what is going on are diligent, we found throwing knives stuck in the wall. We hope to have a culprit at the normal time next week and be returning to normal.

Apologizes for some of the editing that was in it, some stuff had to be cut out because of Luke having had to much to drink this episode. But The Trail trash guys more than make up for it. Awesome episode and thank you too John And Casey for coming on!

Dizzy (AKA Chris or something? IDFK I'm just the media guy) joins the boys to talk about driving an xj fast in Ultra 4. Graham has been abducted by aliens or something (How does he miss the tech episodes?) And general discussion including what a condom catheter is ensues. Tune in for this wild ride. Sam from Flying Iron Fabrication joins us to talk about the good old days of "I hate it when I take the doors of my xj and it folds in half", naxja, and Truck Night In America. I wont spoil this one any more than that, but give it a listen!

This week we had the pleasure of talking with a Pirate 4x4 veteran notorious for some very unique Cherokee/Jeep builds. His current setup can switch from a crawler to a drift missile with a quick suspension swap. If you're looking for some great technical talk this is definitely your episode!

Kyle Rayden of walts crawlers tries to help the boys get up to walts spec and do walt things correctly. Such as but not limited too, stealing the turbo from your cummins to boost your shit box 1 ton xj, running 6 psi on the street, and maybe not flipping your leaf springs because that is just uncool (LOOKING AT YOU GRAHAM!) Also yes Luke is a nerd we get it.

Dwight McTaggart of Trail Trash Notoriety joins us to talk about how he got wrapped in that, why 43s are the new 35, and LS mods to make them live at 6800 rpms. We discuss the finer points of a neutral drop and what the after effects of said actions are. AS always with a Trail Trash team member it was a fun episode to record, come hang out at the Meet and Beat May 13-15th at AOP In TN.

Chris Iousa returns to explain how his buggy is still alive, gets roped into pulling everyone out, and shit talk Cody. Things get oddly wholesome at one point, and it was a great time to record. Also did JB bet a lemon buggy?

Jonathan and KC from @trail_trash on insta sit down and talk with us about the insanity that is Jon's 1 ton xj, what happened with Kc's rig, why cages matter, what's next and how they became the juggernauts of southern wheeling that they are. It was sick to hear about LS swapping an XJ and how to do it right, plus maybe the autist known as Luke has people to wheel with. Who knows? Stay tuned for part 2 its gonna get trashier than a trailer park on a mid summers night.

We had kept it cool for the first part of 48 because our guest where amazing but now we let the mullets come out and it was time to get to the party in the back. No editing raw old style episode style stupidity. Business upfront party out back.

Kevin and Katelynn from Krazy K's Join us to talk about dropping an xj like its hot off a 30 foot cliff, what the crazy sport of werock is, and where they are going next!

Mark returns to make Cody butthurt, less talk about failure to trailer, more talk on popping collars, grems axle exploding, trash can life spans, and giving Hackbar to many compliments. Why are we like this?

Its the lovely time of the year were we milk 1 wheeling trip for all its worth. Totally not fangirling a property at all. We rip hitches off, rip on Cody, Hackbar shows up and assist with making Cody uncomfortable, mix oil weight in king coilovers, and talk about one of the best trips of the year. A solid time and a long ass episode.
