Ad Income Growth Hacks: Part 1
This is the first part of a series where I'm going to cover some proven tactics that will significantly increase your ad income. Each of these episodes are going to be short and to the point focusing on one simple tactic that you can quickly take action on.
Getting Visitors to Read Your Entire Blog Post with Conversational Content
A common mistake that bloggers make is trying to sound like they have a 3 Phds. Even if you are able to pull this off at a high level, then you are still going to fail. The reason for this is because less than 5% of adults in the United States read at a college grade level. That means you would be alienating 95% of the visitors that come to your blog. The best practice is to write at an 8th grade level or below, which is the reading level where 50% of US adults fall into.
The Blogging Mindset that Got Me to 1 Million Monthly Visitors
This simple mindset is responsible for me going from zero to 1 million monthly visitors in short time.
When to Pivot or Create a Second Blog
There is nothing more frustrating to a blogger then investing a year or two into a new blog and seeing little to nothing in return for all that hard work. At some point, you have to face the what the numbers are telling you. If you had a business where you were paying $4000 a month in rent and $10,000 to three employees, you would quickly abandon that business if it were only making you $50 a month. The financial costs associated with a blog are really low, and this leads bloggers to sticking with their blog niche for up to 5 years, when they should be moving on after 12 months.
The Research and Outline Process that Leads to First Page Rankings
For the most part, bloggers fall short when it comes to researching a topic and writing an outline. They just want to open up WordPress and start writing. If you skip the research and outline step, then you are going to be left with an average post that will not be able to compete with the more comprehensive posts on the same topic.
Double Your Traffic by Doing this to Your Post Title
A few strategic changes to a post title can double the traffic to a post in as little as 30 days.
