She is the author of a number of essays in both scholarly and popular venues concerned with education, disability, and the lives of Black children. In this conversation, we discuss the impact of Black Studies on psychology research, the significance of the intersection of Black study and research on disability, and the importance of childhood in thinking about Black life.
