Brett Parsons will be joining us for a chat tonight, Brett is the father to Samuel 12 and Bradley, who has Dravet Syndrome and is 9. We will talk about what challenges, triumphs and inspiration bring up a child with a disability, what impact it has had on his family and of course the impact it has on Brett himself.
What is Dravet Syndrome?
Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that encompasses treatment-resistant epilepsy, intellectual disability and a spectrum of associated conditions (known as ‘comorbidities’), which may include autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge and difficulties with speech, mobility, eating and sleep.
