Show Notes
Sherman Johnson, AKA Coach Sherm or Sherm, is a natural leader. He's played at every level of baseball and became a hitting instructor with the Orioles last year. This season, at the age of 33, Sherm accepted the position of Upper-Level Hitting Coordinator.
Sherm works with every level within the organization. While he is gaining experience daily, I was in Norfolk to see him work with the hard-hitting Tides. I marveled at his ability to relate to the young prospects while commanding their attention during instruction. He has earned respect among the vets, who are very close to his age. Sherm is a sure-fire future manager one day. I'm sure you will enjoy this episode.
