Ep 38 - Clayton Nolte - Biohacking Hydration for Upgraded Energy
In today's episode I sit down with structured water expert Clayton Nolte, inventor and founder of Natural Action Technologies. Clayton spent his entire life engineering and reverse engineering technologies as a part of his mission to make structured water available to every man, woman and child on this planet in his lifetime. So what is structured water? Structured water is created using a double vortex by the natural action of water found in nature such as the action of a mountain stream. Ep 37 - Tyler Bramlett - Using Self-Quantification to Determine Your 'Exercise Type'
In today's episode I sit down with Tyler Bramlett but his friends call him the garage warrior. Tyler is an exercise nutritionist and lifestyle coach who has spent the last decade teaching people how to look, feel and perform their best. In 2003 Tyler was 40 pounds overweight and stuck in a typical rut of going into the commercial gym, reading fitness magazines, taking the health supplements from the popular body building sites and seeing very little in the way of actual results. Then one day he was hit by an SUV while riding his bicycle home from work; a dislocated knee cap, cracked femur, shredded meniscus and six months of physical therapy later Tyler attempted to return to the gym but found that all of the normal exercises and routines he'd done in the past that hadn't worked were making his body hurt. And worse yet they were not helping him to get rid of that excess body fat. After a period of intense research, self-reflection and study; Tyler identified something that he refers to as progression. He calls this the common thread in all effective training programs and he explains how it works in today's episode. This realization and a decade of testing and tweaking culminated in the system that Tyler calls his progressive movement technology which he now uses to transform lives around the world. Ep 35 - Mike Whitfield - Biohacking Rapid Fat Loss with Metabolic Finishers
In today's episode I sit down with Mike Whitfield. Mike's story is one of inspiration, struggle and triumph of the human spirit. He used to weigh over 300 pounds and wear size 46 inch pants. After getting frustrated with all of the diet and exercise misinformation in industry dogma out there that just wasn't working, he finally ended up losing over a hundred pounds and achieving peak athletic performance by creating his own metabolic stacking system that he refers to as work out-finishers. Ep 33 - Paul Becker - Ergogenic Biohacks and Upregulating Mitochondrial Biogenesis
In today's episode I sit down with Paul F. Becker. Paul is a bio hacker / inventor and health researcher. He's also the man behind the earth pulsed electromagnetic field systems. In 1990 during his first year of law school, Paul stumbled upon early TENS therapy which stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation and used it to help reverse a case of tendinitis that persisted for more than 2 months. He graduated from Pepperdine Law School in 1994 and passed the California bar in 1996. In 96 the Whole Life Expo in Los Vegas, Nevada: Becker had the opportunity to hear Bob Beck speak about using electric current and how applying this current to the post points of the wrists could be used to kill micro organisms in the blood. This led Becker on what would turn out to be a life-long research quest into the most efficient electric and magnetic therapies that had either been lost in time or hidden by the main stream medical community. In May 2002 after designing several milliAmpere and microAmpere electric stim system prototypes, he produced his first Earth Pulse PEMF system, tested its efficiency and filed his first patent in October of that year. Earth Pulse has since been in commercial production since 2002 and over fifteen thousand units have been sold and are used by clients around the world who rely on the earth pulse to improve mitochondria health, get a deeper, more restful nights sleep & accelerate their recovery. In today's interview I sit down with Kelley Starrett of Mobility WOD. Kelley is one of the top CrossFit coaches in the world and as another CrossFit gym owner said recently in a conversation we had in a hot tub; he is a mobility and biomechanics God. Ep 05 - Ori Hofmekler - Biohacking Your Diet
In today's interview, I sit down with Ori Hofmekler. Ori is a former member of the Israeli Defense Force Army and Israeli Special Forces. In 2002, Ori published the "Warrior Diet" which was met with much critical acclaim and popularised intermittent fasting and THE ancestral palaeolithic diet, long before Paleo was a pop-culture phenomenon. I'm actually here in my Chicago high rise apartment. Why? For those of you guys that don't know my story, the cliff notes version is ... I've been doing this for a long time well over a decade. I put in my 10,000 hours many times over. Like, many of the people in space that consider ourselves as experts. I focused mostly on nutrition, exercise, and mindset self. It wasn't until I lost my own health and started experiencing a rapid decline in my energy levels. I was AG accelerated rate. Everything, basically where the wheels came off the bus, that I started looking in other places. I started questioning "whether or not, our current system of treating symptoms was the best way to go about healing ourselves". In doing so, I started biohacking my own health and started discovering that there were better ways. One of the most common questions that I get is "What is biohacking?" and here's how I define it. "Biohacking, it's the method of strategically changing your internal and external environment to rapidly enhance the body, upgrade the brain, and create an epic life" It's the art and science of optimizing human performance. The long and short of it is, biohacking embraces self-experimentation. It is the utilization of a scientific methodology to identify the fastest and most effective strategies to create a desired end results. I want to teach you how to do the least necessary, not the most possible. Why? because that's what is sustainable. If I tell you 10,000 things you need to do a day, of course you are going to be able to do that for ... maybe a day, maybe 3 days, maybe 3 weeks. But eventually, you are going to go back to your old habits, because that's what's easier, as humans were really good at conserving energy.
