Adam's sin has affected every human, even those that were not born yet. This is a strange thing, that seems unfair, and yet reflects the way things are. But conversely Christ's sacrifice affects and offers life to all people, including those before and after Christ. This also seems unfair, but is a wonderful reversal that offers not just eternal life, but much more because of Christ's works.
