The last chapter of Romans might seem like not much more than the usual courtesies for finishing off a letter, but it is much more than that. Here along with them, we find that in Paul's greeting to 29 unique people, there is a female deacon Phoebe, a female apostle (we think) and a personal greeting from Tertius, the scribe who took Paul's dictation.
