These six nations, the five plus Judah, had a conspiracy to work together to overthrown Babylon, but Jeremiah predicts it will fail. As usual, they do not listen to him. This video also explains a scribal error in verse one which places the chapter in the reign of the wrong king, but later verses clear up the mistake. New translations of the Bible fix this automatically.
