In Ecclesiastes 5 Solomon continues his testimony and pauses from sharing human wisdom (ie his nihilistic worldview that he struggled with before repenting) to instead share some practical tips for life. He speaks to the struggles that the wealthy have which we do not often consider. What do the wealthy want? A good sleep, and for their children to turn out well, but these things don’t easily happen.
