The best test of faithfulness is not only in the valley… it is in peace—when everything is working and you think you don’t need anything from God. Stay faithful… even then. Because we need God not only in times of trouble, but because of the love we have for Him… for who He is to us… the author of the peace you have… and the reason you’ve reached that level of peace. Our need for God does not depend on seasons— it remains the same in both peace and trouble.
