This Sunday, we had the wonderful opportunity to invite AJ Gillespie from Berkeley Church. We were learning about our brokenness and how even when we are still broken, we are beloved by God. Belovedness exists in the midst of brokenness. Believing that belovedness exists on the OTHER side of our brokenness, can lead to pressure of performance, feeling the need to be perfect, and experiencing shame. But believing that right now, as you are, you are beloved, will lead to joy, peace, and assurance in abundance. You don’t have to fix your brokenness to become beloved. You ARE beloved and then that enables you to go and deal with the brokenness. We have to get the order right.

We have to bring our brokenness to the Lord. We have to be honest with Him. He cannot heal what you hide from Him. He is asking us to come to Him, unfiltered, raw and broken so that He can heal it, renew it, redeem it and transform it.
