Preview of Georgia game How Georgia can beat Alabama? 1. Finish drives with TD’s. 2. Score at least 27 points 3.Hit big explosive plays in the running game and passing game. 4. Gunner Stockton has no turnovers – INT’s or fumbles. 5. Use Gunner as a true dual threat. 6. Win the turnover battle. 7. Win time of possession. 8. Pressure Ty and blitz Ty. Use what OK, LSU, and Auburn did on defense to harass Ty. 9. Force Ty into throwing at least one pick. 10. Force Ty to fumble the ball on a sack pressure. 11. Stop Bama on 3rd down and 4th down. 12. Excel on special teams. How Alabama can beat Georgia? 1. Finish drives with TD’s. 2. Score at least 27 points which means avoiding lots of 3 and outs. 3. Dominate time of possession with long drives ending in TD’s 4. Maintain a good run/pass balance close to 50/50 5. Stay out of 3rd and 15 or longer. That means avoiding taking sacks on 1st down particularly. 6. Ty has no turnovers – INT’s or fumbles. 7. Ty must handle the blitzes. Not hold onto the ball too long. 8. Have blitz beating plays ready and execute them. 9. Ty must be willing to throw the ball away under extreme pressure and go to the next down to avoid taking sacks. 10. Bama Basketball Bama hoops win over Clemson 90-84 – let’s discuss for 10 mins or so. Bama led 45-30 in first half, but got outscored 54-45 in 2nd half, but hung on to win by 6. Clemson actually came all the way back with 2.41 left in the game to take an 83-81. But then Bama went on a 9 to 1 run to close out the game and win 90-84. The Stats Bama was outrebounded 43-39 Bama had 9 TO’s to 7 for Clemson Clemson outscored Bama 50-32 in the paint Highlights LaBaron Philon’s had another great game with 29 pts. He was able to get points for Bama whenever needed and scored from all three levels and hit clutch shots at the end to preserve the win for Bama. Amari Allen had 20 pts, 11 rebs, 4 assists, and 1 block London Jemison had a strong game with 13 pts, 2 rebs, and 2 steals TBB has 11 pts, 5 rebs, 3 assists, and 2 blocks Houston Mallette had 10 pts, 3 rebs, and 1 steal Aiden Sherrell had 5 pts, 10 rebs, and 8 blocks Jalil Bethea played 6 mins and scored 2 pts, had 3 rebs, and 2 assists in just 6 mins. Issues Aden Holloway sat out with an injured wrist Wrightsell sat out with a leg injury Bristow sat out with an ankle injury Noah Williamson is still not an impact player. Points in the paint as Clemson had 50 to 32 for Bama Giving up a 19 pt lead to let Clemson take a 2 pt lead with 3 minutes to go in the game. Rebounding – outrebounded by 4 Clemson’s bigs outplayed our bigs particularly in the 2nd half. Not having Bristow hurt Bama. Figuring out the right starting lineup and the right closing lineup Alabama is now 6-2 on the season. Next up for Bama is a game against UTSA on Sunday, Dec 7 at 1 pm.
