Bama rolls over Maryland 105 to 72. Alabama jumped on Maryland early and led at half 49-29 and cruised from there to a 105-72 victory to finish 2-1 in their trip to Las Vegas. Bama was led by LaBaron Philon with 20 and Aden Holloway with 17. Bama had six players hit double figures in scoring Philon had 20 pts, 4 rebs, 6 assists, but also had 5 TO’s Holloway had 17 pts including going 5-7 from three, had 3 rebs, 10 assists, and only 2 TO’s. TBB has 12 pts and 5 rebs Aiden Sherrell had 11 pts, 9 rebs, and 5 blocks Davion Hannah has a breakout game with 12 pts and 4 rebs London Jemison had 11 pts, 4 rebs, 2 steals, and 2 blocks in a stat stuffer performance Amari Allen has 10 pts, 7 rebs, and 6 assists in another solid performance Key Game Stats Bama shot 45% from three Bama shot 83% from the free throw line Bama outrebounded MD by 19 with 49 to 30 Bama had 12 TO’s to 9 for MD Bama had 16 fastbreak pts to 5 for MD Bama had 48 pts in the paint to 30 for MD Just a dominant performance and big easy win for Bama Highlights LaBaron Philon had 20 pts as he continues to lead Bama. Holloway had 17 pts and 10 assists as Philon and Holloway are a great backcourt due. Bama as a team hit the boards and had 19 rebound margin over MD Bama bigs dominated on the boards and in the paint Davion Hannah had a really good showing. Amari Allen’s play continues to be strong Bama hit 83% of its FT’s Issues Turnovers – we had 12 of them while MD only had 9 Figuring out the right lineup as the starting lineup and as the closing lineup Noah Williamson not contributing, probably a big miss in the transfer portal. Will stay hopeful, but so far he is not contributing. Next up is the Iron Bowl Saturday night! The tough schedule continues for Bama hoops.
