Bama wins 29-22 over South Carolina. Bama gets outplayed by South Carolina for most of the game, yet makes the big plays when needed and finds a way to win. Wild swings in the game. Bama still in control of its own playoff Destiny. 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the SEC Where are we now? Bama in control of its own destiny. Still on track to win SEC regular season and qualify for the SEC championship game On Saturday, October 25, 2025, No. 4 Alabama came back from an 8-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat South Carolina on the road 29–22. Felt like Bama stole one. For me, the game was a miserable watch for most of the game until the last 10 minutes of the game when Bama woke up and scored two TD’s to win the game and also forced the strip fumble to allow Bama to score the game winning TD. Game summary • Trailing 22–14 late in the fourth quarter, Alabama scored a touchdown on a 4-yard pass from Ty Simpson to Germie Bernard, then added a two-point conversion to tie the game. • With 1:39 remaining, Alabama recovered a crucial fumble by South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers at the Gamecocks' 38-yard line. • Bernard later scored the game-winning touchdown on a 25-yard run with 34 seconds left. • Alabama's defense sealed the win with a sack on the final play. • Alabama's DaShawn Jones also scored on an 18-yard interception return in the first quarter. Key players • Germie Bernard (Alabama WR): Scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns, including the game-winner. • Ty Simpson (Alabama QB): Threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns. • LaNorris Sellers (South Carolina QB): Threw for 222 yards and a touchdown, but his late fumble led to Alabama's winning score. Sellers gashed Bama all night with his scrambling and his running. Bama seemingly had him sacked or contained many times only for Sellers to escape and turn a negative play into positive yards and first downs for SC. Season outlook• The comeback victory extended Alabama's winning streak to seven games and improved their record to 7-1 (5-0 SEC). Alabama's final offensive drive began with just under two minutes left on the clock after a crucial turnover by South Carolina. The Crimson Tide, tied 22–22, ultimately scored the game-winning touchdown with 34 seconds remaining. In the fourth quarter of No. 4 Alabama's 29–22 road victory over South Carolina on October 25, 2025, the Crimson Tide rallied from an eight-point deficit with 15 points in the final 2:16 to stun the Gamecocks. Key events in the 4th quarter • South Carolina extends lead: South Carolina took a 22–14 lead early in the quarter after recovering a muffed punt and capitalizing with a touchdown run by quarterback LaNorris Sellers. • Alabama ties the game: On the ensuing drive, Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson capped a 14-play, 79-yard drive with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Germie Bernard. The Crimson Tide then tied the game 22–22 with a successful trick-play two-point conversion pass to Josh Cuevas. • Crucial turnover: With under two minutes left, Alabama linebacker Deontae Lawson forced a fumble on Sellers, which was recovered by nose tackle Tim Keenan Jr. near midfield. • Game-winning touchdown: On 3rd and 10 from the South Carolina 25, Bernard scored the game-winning touchdown on a 25-yard run out of the wildcat formation with 34 seconds remaining. • Defensive stop: Alabama's defense sealed the victory with a sack on South Carolina's final possession.
