As we wrap up our Divine 9 Series, Center Supervisor for the Black Cultural Center at USC and Theta Gamma Chapter member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Damarea Parker joins us to encourage you to reimagine the college journey to identify your legendary lifestyle. As a first generation college student and foster youth, Damarea exposed himself to various experiences that have not only shaped him, but solidified his passion for community service. Damarea completed his Master of Science in Higher Education at California State University, Fullerton and he received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at California State University, San Bernardino. Raised in Perris, California, this former foster youth has served in multiple roles pertaining to student leadership and development, campus programs, engagement, and involvement. He is committed and passionate about exploring the issues of Cultural Enrichment, Financial Literacy, Real Estate, Entrepreneurship, Self-development, and Education through works of speech, workshops, music, and acting. As the founder of Legendary Speaks, an inspirational and motivational speaking company, Damarea helps men and women reach the fullness of their potential.
